Coming from Australia, which is a sports-mad country, I often think about the Olympics and what a crashing snore they are; all European 19thC bourgeois pastimes like trap-shooting and dressage. Living in Asia I sometimes wonder how different the 'modern' olympic movement would be if it had started here. Geometry is more interesting!
